Lipodissolve, also known as Lipolysis or Mesotherapy, is a cosmetic procedure that aims to reduce localized fat deposits in specific areas of the body. It involves the injection of a solution containing Phosphatidylcholine and Deoxycholate (PCDC) directly into the targeted areas. Here's how it works:
Phosphatidylcholine and Deoxycholate (PCDC):
These are two naturally occurring substances found in the body. Phosphatidylcholine is a component of cell membranes, and Deoxycholate is a bile acid involved in the digestion of fats. When injected into fatty deposits, they are believed to disrupt the fat cell membranes and help break down fat.
Localized Treatment
PCDC Lipodissolve is used primarily to target and treat localized areas of fat that are resistant to diet and exercise. Common treatment areas include the abdomen, thighs, buttocks, and love handles.
Micro-Injections
The PCDC solution is administered through a series of small, fine-gauge needles, often referred to as micro-injections. These injections are strategically placed in the fatty tissue beneath the skin.
Fat Breakdown
PCDC is thought to work by emulsifying the fat cells in the targeted area, causing them to release their contents. The body can then metabolize and eliminate the released fat over time.
Multiple Sessions
Typically, multiple treatment sessions are required to achieve the desired results. The exact number of sessions may vary depending on the individual's goals and the extent of the area being treated.
